The STEM Initiative exists to open young people's eyes to the possibilities of a career in STEM. We deliver bespoke, hands-on workshops that bring science, technology, engineering and maths to life — showing pupils not just how these subjects work, but where they can take them.
We offer STEM workshops for students aged 5–18, from primary through to sixth form, alongside Q&As with STEM professionals, networking sessions, webinars, and careers guidance. Every programme is tailored to the needs of your school and your students — no off-the-shelf sessions, no one-size-fits-all.
The STEM Initiative was founded by educators with a shared passion for inspiring the next generation. With over a decade of experience in STEM education and outreach, our team has engaged more than 15,000 students across the UK — in classrooms, at festivals, and even on international science expeditions. Ranging from teachers to adventurers, our STEM specialists bring genuine expertise and infectious enthusiasm to every session. All of our outreach officers are Enhanced DBS checked.
